Keep Company = Winter Resilience

Yep, even introverts need some amount of social connection! And there's no bigger time to benefit from spending time with friends & family than during the winter months.

However, it can be really hard to make and keep plans when it's dark and cold outside.

Try to "set and forget" your social routine - just like you set and forget any healthy habit!

  • Plan a weekly game night with neighbors
  • Start up a supper club with friends or nearby family. Each person/family takes turns hosting either weekly or monthly dinners at their house, and everyone brings a dish to share!
  • Hold monthly soup swaps
  • Join a local sports league
  • Find a book club that meets near you
  • Take a class on something you're interested in - a foreign language, swing dancing, pottery, figure drawing
  • Check out your local library for events and classes
