Have you ever lost a single piece of trash and thought to yourself, "Oh, it's just one bag/paper towel/ straw"? One item might seem small, but if all 623,657 Vermonter dropped one piece of trash, what would happen to the beautiful Green Mountains?


Did you know you could binge watch every episode of Law & Order in the same amount of time it would take for a paper towel to decompose? That is about 456 hours (19 days). A cigarette filter takes 1-5 years. That is an entire term for the United States President!! A plastic foam cup? The lifespan of an African Elephant- 50 years!

We know you love Vermont and our Earth just as much as we do! Next time you find a cigarette butt, plastic bag or extra napkin blowing through the street, think twice about picking it up- even if it isn't yours. If we all contributed in a small way, there would be a MASSIVE positive impact.

Having a strong core isn't just for athletes, strong abdominal and back muscles are essential for completing every day tasks. Try adding these exercises into your strength training routine for a stronger core! 1.) Abdominal crunch: Lie on your back and place your feet on the wall so your knees and hips are bent at a 90 degree angle.
