Water Makes You Feel Awesome!

Did you know that water can help provide relief from a headache.  Did you know staying hydrated can reduce afternoon irritability? See below for all the different ways that water can make you feel awesome!

.) It can aid in weight loss and reduce the feeling of hunger. Extra water can not only make you feel full, but it can also boost your metabolism! Try drinking a glass of water before every meal.

.) It powers your exercise.  Staying hydrated has many benefits around exercise including: increasing your ability to perform at your best, enhancing the quality of your workout and allowing you to recover faster.

.) It aids digestion and keeps your kidneys working. Drinking water helps your body break down foods and helps your kidneys and liver flush out waste products.

.) Hydration can improve your mood! Drinking water not only makes you feel refreshed but also can improve your mindset. Even mild dehydration has been shown to negatively impact mood. Next time you're feeling frustrated and irritable, try drinking a glass of water!

.) Drinking water can help with headaches. Going too long without water can cause a headache. The good news is drinking 2-4 cups of water within 1 to 2 hours can help relieve pain from a headache.

.) It can energize you! Feeling that afternoon slump? Don't reach for a coffee just yet. Try hydrating first and zap the sleepiness.

.) Hydrating though foods is really good! Watermelon, cucumbers, and strawberries not only are high in water content, but also contain nutrients and minerals that can help you hydrate more effectively.

.) It sounds soothing. City noises, such as traffic and construction, can increase your stress levels. However, studies have shown that sounds such as a stream or ocean waves can reduce stress significantly.
